This is an excellent poem for activists and very inspiring for anyone involved with any kind of advocacy group. We need to remember that we are not alone in our struggle, and that we can create positive change in the world if we work together.

We are reading this in conjunction with the topic, "Coping with Stress", as it is an excellent motivational piece of writing to keep around your home for a time when you are dealing with extra stressors and need a remender to take things one at a time.

May Sarton, who herself dealt with depression, wrote this lovely poem which is good for people looking for reading that will help with increasing their self-esteem
